Moving Shadow Vinyl Record spinning!

October 2001

October 1, 2001

A quiet month for releases this month but we’ve had some amazing tunes drop onto the doormat of the Moving Shadow office so at least WE’ve been having a great time hearing what will be coming to you soon (you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer though while we get them mastered and pressed up!!!).

Listen out for some of the tracks this month though as they’ll soon be appearing on dub plate. The first to hit the streets in the coming months will be Blame’s classic ‘Music Takes You’ which has received the remix treatment from a couple of different genres, one being supplied by John B and the other coming from breaks master Blim.

As for other remixes around on plate, Rob & Rennie P’s Tech Breaks overhaul of Deep Blue’s ‘Helicopter’ has been going down a storm, as has the Aquasky vs Masterblasters breakbeat remix of Hyper on Experience’s ‘Lord of the Null Lines’. Sorry to tease at such an early stage! If you’re really lucky there just might be a special mix of them available for you to check out right here at movingshadow.com.

Last but not least for this month comes the news that Dom & Roland’s massive track from the earlier Limited Edition MSXEP008, ‘Imagination’ is released at long last. So please, no more emails to the office trying to find out where to get a copy. This time it comes backed with the previously unreleased remix from Kemal & Rob Data, so make sure you don’t miss out on this one if you failed to get hold of the earlier released double pack.
