It was only a matter of time before we called on the mighty duo Total Science to get involved with this one. Pioneers of the old school themselves (remember ‘Champion Sound’?) and with probably the highest output of any DnB producers, they have recorded for pretty much all the labels you could care to mention. Here they twist ‘Voodoo Magic’ (as its also know) into a huge bass workout keeping the vibe as true to the original as possible, whilst adding their own unmistakable trademark sound.
Added to this 12" we’ve enlisted the talents of newly heralded, but ever-present NZ DnB outfit Concord Dawn who take on H-O.E’s ‘94 underground classic ‘Disturbance’ to devastating effect. Fans of the Concord sound will certainly not be disappointed as they use those huge, rhythmic adrenalin fuelled melodies and shuddering bass they’re known for to devastating effect.
